This walk is a real gem, starting at Colchester Town Station where you walk through Britain's oldest recorded town with its excellent shopping facilities and architectural history. After leaving the town you eventually pass through a meadow, a golf course, the beautiful residence of Cook's Hall and basically follow quiet country lanes and field-paths, passing through Eight Ash Green and Aldham before arriving at Marks Tey Station. All paths were clear, making this an ideal family walk.
