After leaving the centre of Cookley we pass through Caunsall Village to join a stretch of the North Worcestershire Way. After leaving that we skirt Blakeshall to meander through countryside to enjoy the village of Wolverley. The final stretch back to Cookley is via canal and countryside. The River Stour is crossed twice en route.

A walk of 2/3rds! Lovely countryside views, canal and villages spoilt by a final section through a housing estate which was so overgrown around the back of the houses and we felt it was just adding distance. Next time at point 26 we would turn into Cookley and return on the paved road into the village.
