Coracle Centre - Cilgerran Castle - Afon Morgenau - Teifi Gorge -

From the banks of the River Teifi the walk begins by heading up into Cilgerran, passing the castle and church and continuing across fields and through woodland, with attractive views over quiet countryside. It is a twisting route and some muddy sections can be expected, but it is well-waymarked throughout; simply keep an eye out for the regular yellow arrows. The final part of the walk is a glorious stroll through the Tetfi Gorge.

Did this walk today. It can be cut short by walking from the castle (waypoint 2) to the main road then turning right to rejoin at 4. Otherwise you are walking down then back up for no purpose. We also got lost around point 7. There are several waymarked paths, none of which you want. You need to pay close attention to the map. After the walk, its only a couple of miles to Cenarth and the falls. Eorth a detour.

One of the most picturesque walks we have ever done. Very well described & waymarked. Only slight snag was at waypoint 11 where the path had been barred by the farmer. However, a short diversion by turning right then left along the main road & then 2nd left to rejoin the route. Finally, the beer at the Mason's Arms was the icing on the cake, so to speak!!

Loved this walk. Completed early April 2013 with a dog. Bit confused about title, thought Coracle Centre was in Cenarth, although the toilets at the car park start did have some information about Coracles. Excellent directions, we thoroughly enjoyed it.
