This walk provides the perfect introduction to novice walkers in Andalucia. It provides stunning views, typical tracks through olive groves, past fincas and cortijos, a short section of orienteering through an olive grove and peace and quiet. The walk climbs for twenty minutes, fairly steeply with views down to Lake Iznajar and distant views of the Sierras Subbeticas. You then descend through silent olive groves to the small farmhouse 'the little treasure-house', which is absolutely typical of the area. From here you go out into a trackless olive grove, maintaining the same height, along the side of a valley. You come to a summit and descend to a crossing track, which leads down to a very minor road that takes you round and back up to the car.
