The route is along permissive paths, by kind permission of Lord Melchett. The paths take you through wildflower meadows, woods and along tracks. Two local artists have transformed old marl-pits with their special modern creations. At one point there are fine views across the Wash to Lincolnshire. There are stiles on this walk, but you can use the gates instead.

We really enjoyed this walk but did struggle with the cattle grids and our dog towards the end of the walk - I wouldn't have got him over on my own, my husband had to carry him and there was no other way for him to go (normally there is a human/canine alternative to a cattle grid)
