From the car park at Alva this climb takes you up to one of the less frequented Ochil summits where there are splendid views across the Ochils and out to the South Perthsire mountains, then brings you back down the delightful Alva Glen, with its waterfalls and Smugglers' Cave.
Although the walk is mostly along paths it is a high-level walk and good navigation will be needed in bad weather. If descending Alva Glen a small burn will need to be crossed so waterproof footwear is recommended.
