Walked 21.02.2021. This is a lovely flat walk with really easy directions. Some nice sections along the Downs Link, lovely fields and good views and really pleasant for a day out. Regarding the alternative route, it's worth just following the directions as there is a lovely house and pond and it doesn't really add too much to the length. Spot on, beautiful walk with great directions. Parking is free on Sundays as of 21/02/21 or £3.50 for 4 hours at other times. Loads of car parking in the village and some good shops to browse (when things re-open!)
