This circular walk through the Essex countryside starts at the glorious Cressing Temple Barns with its large free car park. The full walk is wonderful and not to be missed. You cross and re-cross the River Brain and use excellent farmland paths and parts of the Essex Way as well as a few quiet country lanes. If there is any traffic, grass verges are available for safety. All paths are clear apart from two field edges which were slightly overgrown (May 2022).
Refreshments can be found at the cafe within Cressing Temple Barns, Ruby's Tea and Coffee Farm Shop (Waymark 8) and The Cross Keys pub in White Notley (Waymark 24).
