Easy navigation and stunning views - a short, sharp climb up Culter Fell, where the whole of South Lanarkshire and beyond is on display on a clear day. Descend gently to the reservoir and meander back to the start along the private paved road.

As an interesting alternative the route can be reversed giving a much gentler climb of Culter Fell and also allowing an extension down the really impressive and steep King's Beck. Some care required for a short stretch but thereafter a really lovely walk by the burn.
