The walk leaves the village of Dailly through Lindsayston Wood by following the burn. There is a series of waterfalls and pools, making this an enchanting secluded place. The route continues along a section of unclassified hill road to Barr, before returning along a narrow track with wonderful views across the River Girvan to the fields and hills beyond. Most of this route follows a recent track waymarked with signs of a curling-stone whose handle points in the direction of the route.
