From the car park at the entrance to the Cúber Reservoir, we begin by rambling along the eastern side of it with the opportunity to admire the abundant and varied birdlife. Red kites and ospreys can be seen if you are lucky. Later we will descend into a steep gorge and follow the watercourse through a number of tunnels. A torch would be handy for two of them. There is alleged to be a three-euro charge payable on entering the private land at the end of the tunnels. There are painted signs on rock surfaces which indicate this. We were not required to pay anything, however.
Later our way begins to ascend through lovely countryside and we reach the refuge at Tossals Verds. This interesting and picturesque place offers accommodation and has a restaurant, fresh water and so on. From here we continue this beautiful way to Coll des Coloms and soon begin to descend, following the watercourse which links Cuber with the reservoir Gorg Blau. This brings us back to the main road just 150 metres from the start.
