A relatively short circular walk around a very pretty reservoir set in the foothills of the Pennines. It is reasonably flat and offers open land, water edges, bluebell woods and wildflowers in abundance. The scenery is lovely. From Waymarks 4 to 7 is a spur just added on so that you can get the flavour of Strines Reservoir, which is higher and offers wider views up into the hills.
This route and Walk 2469 are not all marked on the OS maps, as they both use permissive tracks in places.
