I did this walk yesterday & wanted to update anyone wanting to attempt it. There is no longer a gap in the hedgerow at point 10 going into the woods. You can push through the hedge & make your way carefully through but there is no clear path. Once you get to point 11 the path becomes clear again. If pushing through fallen trees & undergrowth isn't your thing simply ignore points 10,11 & 12 & head straight for the road & then until you get to point 13. For me it was worth the difficult scramble through the woods as we got to see a wild deer close up.
