This walk is part of the newly opened (2005) Dava Way, a 40km walk over the Dava Moor (>300m) between Grantown on Spey and Forres; Walks 2132 and 3090 complete the Way walk. The old railway track can be wet in places but in the main the walking is good. Yellow marker-posts and painted stones aid navigation; the logo for the Way is the Divie Viaduct (NJ 022455), crossed in Walk 2132. There are nice views northwards to the Moray Firth.
Refreshments etc are available in Forres.
