For points of interest and historic notes see in 'additional information'. This is a very enjoyable walk, mostly along tracks and very quiet country lanes. The paths are all in good order, there are no stiles and the route is well-signed. There is a pub, The Crown.

A good walk in sunshine and a nice warm(ish) breeze after the recent snow and ice. The walk is very straightforward with very little to see so if you like solitude and pure country/farmland walking this might be for you. Instructions fine .
