The route is along part of the long-distance path, Weavers Way. Here most of the year wildflowers abound and numerous species of butterfly can be seen. The route continues across arable fields on good paths, field edges and quiet country lanes. There are good views of the countryside and an excellent pub, the Butcher's Arms, which welcomes walkers.
