Rewalked 9/2022. Made minor amendments to text. Still seems to be uphill at the end.

Did this on 10 August. The most treacherous I have attempted. I recommend 2 sticks for safety in the gorge. Clean up and Lunch break at the Wookey Hole Inn was welcome. Great walk.(Satnav is BA5 1AY)

Even with a real 'sting in the tale' finish, an excellent walk, with views of Somerset from the hill. Lovely views of the Mendips from the moors. If you have a larger dog(s) as we do, a few of the stiles are difficult to negotiate. But we would'nt put anyone off doing the walk. Very rewarding.
