The walk starts in the middle of Eccleston, taking you through the village and westward to Heskin Old Hall (farm!) The walk then heads eastward, passing Heskin Hall, craft centre and café. The route then dog-legs to take you through woodland and country lanes, eventually meeting the River Yarrow. The return journey brings you back across farmland and a quiet country lane.

Did this walk 29/12/19. A lovely walk with different views and terrain, but although it wasn't raining it was very muddy, especially across the open fields, with some of the woodland paths having slippery stones hidden under the leaves. But all in all an enjoyable walk.
