Edge End - Lydbrook Spur Trail - Lower Lydbrook - Wysis Way - Edge End
The Forest of Dean is best walked in spring, when the bluebells are out, or autumn when the colours are magnificent. We walked this walk in autumn and enjoyed scuffing the beech leaves as well as wondering at the rich tapestry of colours to be seen on the hillsides. The outward route is on the Lydbrook Spur Trail, whilst on the return route we meet another long-distance path, the Wysis Way.
