Edge End - Beechenhurst Trail - Mirystock - Upper Lydbrook - Lydbrook Spur Trail - Edge End

The Forest of Dean is at its best in the autumn. Not only are the colours magnificent but most of the paths are good, even after rain. The outward route uses the Beechenhurst Trail and the Wysis Way before joining a good track used by cyclists as well as walkers. With the leaves starting to fall, the views are excellent.
