From the start near Pinhaw Beacon, the views over Cravendale are stunning. Keep an eye out for common lizards when up on Elslack Moor. From the moor, we take the Pennine Way as it drops through pretty pastureland to Thornton-in-Craven, undoubtedly a beautiful village were it not bisected by the busy A56.

Our route back up onto the moor is steeper, but equally beautiful, before a short moorland stretch leads you back to the start.
