This superb walk from Enstone takes country lanes, tracks and bridleways to the Ditchley Estate, where woodland paths and tracks lead through beautiful parkland and past the large and stately Ditchley House that serves as a conference centre.
Pine forests are much in evidence in every direction, and the splendid landscape rolls away in the distance. The tiny setting of Cleveley, with its charming stone cottages, and the lake where water fowl come to the edge for feeding, is just delightful, and the way back to Enstone follows a super little track that rises above a picturesque valley, and touches on the edge of Church Enstone, before taking meadow paths where there is a lengthy boardwalk across wetland before reaching the pretty village streets of Enstone again.
