From the little church nestling on the edge of the cliff at Es Cubells, we follow a steep path down past the tiny spring to reach a tarmac lane. Now we will follow this undulating way for over two kilometres, enjoying the stunning coastal scenery. Eventually we run out of road and take a lovely footpath, the twists and turns eventually bringing us to the sea at Cala Llentrisca. What a lovely unspoilt spot this is, with its varaderos (fishermens' huts) and boats. There is magnificent swimming if conditions are right. Now we begin a steady climb, zigzagging our way up. Reaching the top we briefly head south, to reach the viewpoint with breathtaking views over the mystical island of Es Vedra. What a spot this would be to watch the sun go down. Next we begin to climb again as we head up to the top of Puig Llentrisca. Now we have views across to Formentera as well as to the salt lakes of Ses Salines. Finally we make our way through wooded country, following caminos and footpaths to pass the convent and reach our start point at Es Cubells.
