This is a very enjoyable walk, the route is part of the long distance path Icknield Way. Except for a little road walking to make it a circular walk, the paths are on wide tracks through woodland and farmland. where deer can be seen. For points of interest and historic notes see in, 'additional information'.

An enjoyable walk. However, please note that once through the village of Barnham the pavement runs out and you have a longish stretch of walking along a road which is most certainly NOT a quiet country lane. Having numerous cars fly past us at considerable speed was not pleasant, and makes this walk unsuitable for children, those with dogs and anyone of a nervous disposition!
