Ewyas Harold - Ewyas Harold Commom - Dulas Court - Priors Wood - Ewyas Harold

The walk starts by climbing up onto Ewyas Harold Common. This is a large area of open ground, rich in wildlife, birds and flowers. In August there are large areas covered with saffron and in the spring, orchids are very much in evidence. There are six Exmoor ponies in residence; they roam freely and help to keep the rough plants in check.

After dropping down through woodland to Dulas Court and Church, the walk climbs back up again. The walk back along the top provides views of Garway Hill and Kentchurch, as well as the Welsh Mountains, before passing the remains of the pre-Norman motte and bailey Castle.
