A very peaceful circular walk starting in the unusual village name of Fingringhoe. You will be using public footpaths through military firing ranges but there will be red warning flags flying if any action is taking place. All the times I've walked through them, I've never seen them in use. The rest of the walk combines field paths, byways and country lanes. At the end of the walk if you fancy some refreshments, you can pop in The Whalebone pub about 40 yards down from the village hall (see opening times).
One or two of the paths were slightly overgrown with long grass (Aug 2022) but no stinging nettles.
