We begin by walking up through the wonderfully sited Flushing play park before climbing away from this historic town through open countryside. From Tregew, we take the peaceful wooded footpath that leads us down to the hamlet of Trelew nestling beside Mylor Creek.
From here our way takes us gently in to Mylor Churchtown, passing through the ancient and interesting church. We now have a choice of hostelries to pause at and enjoy the activities at the busy local marina.
The last stage of this lovely walk takes us past the sailing club and along the popular coastal path around Penarrow Point and overlooking the Carrick Roads with Falmouth on the opposite shore. All too soon we are back at the car with the option of Flushing's famous pub to finish off at.
