Starting at Foston's Ash pub on the B4070, this is a wonderful walk in the glorious Cotswolds, visiting Sheepscombe, truly a picture-book setting of amazing architecture, with charming dwellings of stone sitting on all levels and seemingly enveloped by the natural surrounds. There are lengthy stretches in woodland, much of it in the capable hands of the National Trust and English Nature, jointly. In unique Cotswold countryside, with fields divided by dry-stone walls and with glorious views over hills and valleys, this walk will appeal to the lover of natural beauty.
