This picturesque circular walk starts from the small fishing village of Fowey where we walk down to Ready Money Cove before walking up through National Trust woodland to St Catherine's Castle, with its spectacular views up the river. The walk now follows the coastline to a secluded bay at Polridmouth, which is an ideal place to rest and enjoy a picnic. Continuing, we climb up Gribbin Head to pass the magnificent tower with its stunning views over the sea. Our final stage of coastline is along a 2.5km section of this picturesque section of coast path, to rest and enjoy refreshments at the little seaside hamlet of Polkerris.
For our return journey we travel through beautiful Cornish farmland along part of the 'Saints Way', an ancient long-distance footpath.
The conclusion of our walk is a detour into the small fishing village of Fowey.
