The walk is another in my lockdown series but using a starting point a little further from the house, as that now seems acceptable. It starts and ends at St Luke's Church on the edge of the wooded dunes and at first uses a gravelled track that has been surfaced by the millionaire owner of a mansion in the woods. Once past his property the gravel returns and the walk continues under trees; in fact three-quarters of the route is tree-lined and a long section is hedged. Even the short street section is pleasantly shaded, making an attractive half-day walk.
