Freshfield and Deansgate Fields: (Corona Walk 2)

This is another walk conceived during the Corona epidemic. It starts in central Freshfield and uses old footpaths mostly to reach Deansgate Fields, which are quite extensive. Some of these paths have been used in other walks, but this is a different combination that I hope will give some relief from the monotony of self-isolation. It goes along Grange Lane which has Tudor buildings and passes an 18th Century church where you can see a cross moved here from its original WWI field hospital site. The building at the start of the walk was erected almost 100 years ago as a cinema.
