Another offering during the corona virus lockdown, starting from central Freshfield and going through woods and dunes to reach Wicks Lake (which is something of an exaggeration although it does have some water). It uses parts of the Sefton Coastal Path walk which is no longer accurately mapped and passes some sculptures and information boards on the Asparagus Trail. Use is made of old footpaths that now run between houses and when the all-clear comes the walk may be started from Freshfield Station or the National Trust car park, which cuts out the street-walking which is currently necessary.
