Starting at Frinton station and after walking along a residential road you enter the countryside, followed by a stroll through the village of Great Holland. From here you pass through a farm, then a golf course to reach the seafront which you follow before arriving back at Frinton. You then pass along Connaught Avenue which has been called the Bond Street of the East Coast. You will find various shops here including many tea shops, charity shops etc, and then just a short walk back to the station.

We did this walk on a lovely Sunday in August. We decided to do the walk in the opposite direction; starting from Point 1 going down Witton Wood Road into Dead Lane. This was ideal to walk the countryside, finishing with a glorious walk along the sea wall and up Connaught Avenue (with a well-earned tea stop). Highly recommended.
