This walk starts off in a rather unprepossessing manner along a minor road near the huge Crieff Hydro Hotel; however, the nature changes as the walk descends into the pretty woodland in Glenturret. After enjoying a wee dram at the distillery visitors' centre the walk continues through the woods beside the river before climbing to a terraced path with magnificent views along Strathearn.

Only a short walk, but well worth it.

Considerable on lead walking at start and middle section of the walk, though this is combined with lots of off lead time in the woods and towards the end. No exposure to livestock at time of walking.
