The climb up to the trig point of Garway Hill is quite taxing, but the views make it all worthwhile. There are views in all directions; on a clear day you can see to the Brecon Beacons, to the Malverns and Bredon Hill, May Hill and the Cotswolds. Nearby, there is Grosmont and its castle and church and The Graig, which is climbed in The Three Castles Walk. Plenty of birdlife, we saw green and great spotted woodpeckers, as well as stonechats, wheatears and buzzards.
