From close to the picturesque mountain hamlet of Gisclareny, we begin by climbing up to a delightful forest path that will lead us south-east, offering magnificent scenery all the way to Coll de Léscrigg, which you passed by car on your way to the start. From here we shall begin a steep descent for some 1.5 kilometres, somewhat tricky in places, to reach a wide track towards the valley bottom. A short diversion from here brings us to the little hilltop church of Sant Marti del Puig and after our visit we return and continue westwards along a wide track, steadily climbing. After some 1.5km along this wide track we will branch off onto the forest footpath GR 150 becoming GR 107, which will eventually return us to the main track we left. Crossing, we carry on along the GR footpath, which will soon bring us back to Coll de la Bena and the start.
