Goring - Aldworth - Fair Mile - Moulsford - Thames Path - Goring

This walk takes you through a wide variety of landscapes. It starts in the attractive twin villages of Goring and Streatley which are either side of the River Thames and have some interesting old architecture and several good pubs. It then climbs through a National Trust area renowned for wildflowers. It crosses a golf course and goes up through farmland and woodland to the village of Aldworth, famous for effigies of the Aldworth Giants in its church. Its pub, The Bell, makes an excellent lunch stop for bar snacks. From here more downland is enjoyed and the Ridgeway crossed before dropping down to the Thames-side village of Moulsford and following the Thames Path back to Streatley.
