Grassington: the Three Moors Walk

Whilst most walks from Grassington explore the ground to the east of the village, this walk is on the other side of the Wharfe, a vast area of moorland with old mine tracks, many resurfaced, making for easy walking. The walk is based on the visitor centre in Grassington, but soon crosses the Wharfe to reach this moorland area. The first half of the walk is across pastures and through woodland, while the second half is over open ground, crossing Threshfield, Boss and Linton Moors, mainly on reconstructed bridleways with wide views.
