This is a very varied walk, offering woodland flowers and birds as well as parkland, built-up areas as well as St Pierre Golf Club. Most of the walk is on good tracks or minor roads, but there are some muddy places in the low-lying fields below the M48.

We did this walk yesterday (5/07/23)but started at point 8 so we could walk from and to the pub. The walk was very enjoyable with mixed fields and woodland. There are several options to shorten it if you wish too. Pity about the section alongside the meadow though which was quite unpleasant. For some reason the path has been fenced off to the side of the meadow and is very overgrown with nettles, brambles and what I think were sloes. What a shame, I can't think what harm walkers would do to the meadow if they walked through it. We won't do the walk again because of it.

Walked this walk today, 06/09/17.Its a lovely walk but it isn't 4 miles long. At no point did we go wrong although I think at waypoint 13 when you cross the road and turn right its about 50 meters rather than the stated 250 meters before you turn left, so it would have been quite easy to do so. We walked 7.3 miles.
