This linear walk starts at Great Bentley Station and terminates at Clacton Station. Bridleways, field-paths and a coastal path all contribute to the walk. There is a fair bit of road-walking but there is still plenty to see en route.

On arrival at St Osyth you can visit the quaint village and grab some refreshments at the local pub. Another pub can be found at Jaywick along with a fish 'n' chip shop before arriving at the seafront.

This beautiful stretch of walk along the coast has excellent views with various food outlets along the way before arriving at Clacton pier with its excellent rides and amusements for all. Then it's just a short walk to the station where you can browse more amusement arcades and the variety of shops along the way within the town centre.

On arrival back at Great Bentley, the local pub can be found 100 yards down from the station by the village green.
