This linear walk starting at Great Bentley station and finishing at Alresford station is a delight to walk. The route consists of field paths, enclosed paths, along a few roads and a lovely stretch beside Alresford Creek with excellent views. There is a section along one busy road but there is a roadside path between the waymarks so traffic won't be a problem. You also pass through two farms and through the grounds of Thorrington Tide Mill along this route.
For refreshments there is a pub at the start, one in Thorrington and one at the end and also a food shop by Alresford station.
