Hadlow is a charming village in the Medway Valley, near Tonbridge, Kent. It is well-known for its Gothic folly, which towers 150ft above the valley. You will catch glimpses of it en route. Part of the route is along the Greensand Way, which you will join at the little village of West Peckham. This is a quiet village in the midst of orchard country, with fields surrounding the village and no main roads running through the most attractive parts of it. The village green is a good place to stop. For connoisseurs of beer, the 16th Century Swan pub is worth a visit; they have their own ‘Swan Micro-brewery' and brew their own range of cask and tank conditioned beers. The 16th Century church, St Dunstan's, is also worth a visit. There are lovely views along the way, particularly along the stretch of the Greensand Way. As you leave the GSW and turn south, you will pass through Oxen Hoath Park; look out for the beautiful manor-house, now a hotel and retreat. There is also a renowned nursery close by to interest gardening enthusiasts.

A very nice walk with very good walk instructions, also made it around 6 miles.Parked at the start in a layby opposite The Prince Of Wales pub.Parking down Carpenters Lane was limited due to parking bays for residents. At waymark 13,the stile has been replaced by a kissing gate, also no sign of the Bull in the field.
