From the beautiful church in the lovely Warwickshire village of Halford, this is a good walk in some marvellous surrounds. A fine old bridleway leads through Ettington Park with wonderful views along the way, to reach Ettington. This village has some interesting buildings, not least the ruin of St Thomas Becket House standing at the village's edge. The return journey takes field-paths first of all, then rejoins the bridleway of the outward journey for the last part of the walk, the perspective quite different from the opposite direction on the way back to Halford.
