Starting off at the telephone box in Happisburgh Common, the walk heads down the road and into the wide expanse of open fields that surround the small village. While walking through these fields, take the opportunity to gaze over to the tall church at Happisburgh or to the infamous lighthouse sitting on top of a grassy hill.

These fields are followed by a slight gentle ascent of Hill Sixty. From here there are some lovely views looking east and south from where you have just walked. These views are followed by a gentle descent through more fields and along the road, slowly heading back to Happisburgh Common.

Along the final stretch of field, there is a moated enclosure to the left. This moat dates from the medieval period where a manor-house once stood. Unfortunately nothing remains other than the moat.
