What an enjoyable walk! Done on 17th June 2021 on a glorious sunny day. Only the rather overgrown path after WP12 detracted a little. The directions for WP15 need a little clarification. A distance after turning right off the road, bear left at a fork, passing a footpath to the left. Continue to a barn and footpath again on the left. Continue ahead on the main track for a further 275 yards to a stile in the stone wall on the left just before a metal gate. The older OS maps show several barns here, but only one remains, 200 yards further ahead. All other directions were fine and current.

Yes - you are RIGHT!! I drove there straight after your comments, and there is INDEED a new bridge! FANCY not telling me??? There used to be stepping stones there, but the new bridge leads steeply up Gypsy Bank. Instructions are now amended.

This is a lovely walk. However,a word of caution. Don't, as we did, take the bridge directly after the cave at step 10. You should take the bridge further down the dale. Perhaps the bridge we took has been installed since the walk was written up.
