Stanage Edge at four miles long is the longest in the Peak District. This walk starting from Hathersage covers the last one-and-threequarter-miles at its southern end. There are extensive views to Kinder Scout, The Great Ridge, Hope Valley and Longshaw. As an added bonus the last leg covers the outstanding Higger Tor and Carl Wark before descending the beautiful Burbage Valley to Grindleford. It is a walk to savour, with fine views all round.
This is a linear walk between the railway stations at Hathersage and Grindleford.
