A pleasant walk mainly through fields, a couple of commons and a fairly extensive area of woodland. You go fairly close to Hawkesbury Monument and Hawkesbury Church is worth a visit. Wetmoor Wood is a nature reserve.

Undertook this walk in May 2021 (sorry, forgot to put up the comment until now). Route finding generally OK, except for the return at Hawkesbury - point 18. We came out through Court Farm, not having found the last part of the path. Real difficulty was the length. Hardly deviating from the route, it measured over almost 8.5 miles on our App, which is usually a good guide to walk lengths. Both myself and my wife have the same app. Our walking companions agreed that this was more than 6.2 miles. Having said that, a very enjoyable walk!

Where it states to go down hill through gate this is incorrect.. its UPHILL!!!! Cross old stone bridge (pictured), then take stile by gate to enter field. Go right downhill through gate to right of farm buildings. Cross field to left of telegraph pole, aiming for corner.
