640 acres of woodland owned by the Woodland Trust and opened in 2012 to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee. The walk will take you along good footpaths, many of them with a hard surface. There is a nice lake and a bird hide that can be used to observe the wildlife on the lake. There is also a Visitors' Centre with lots of interesting information, where you can explore the history of the site with archaeology dating back to the Romans. There is also a trail of historic coins which you can take rubbings of as you pass along the way.
