This is a pleasant walk with an excellent pub at the end of it. The route is along footpaths, tracks and country lanes; there are no stiles en route.

Roy Davenport reports that he has revisited this walk and all is OK, except that a lot of waymarkers have faded into plain white discs but if walkers study their text they will be alright. February 2012. Adrian (Admin)

Easter 2006 - Excellent walk with no stiles, so ok with dogs (on leads in places). No problems encountered. Mermaid Inn is very good, and dogs are allowed.
