This is an easy walk with no stiles and is along part of the long-distance path Marriott's Way. Along the tree-lined old railway line there are many wildflowers to be seen and part of the route is beside the River Wensum.
You have a choice of good inns, either The Red Lion or The Cock Inn at Drayton is open seven days a week and has a very good menu to choose from.

Walk completed Sept 2017. Overall a pleasant walk with some good views. Could only give 2 dogs for dog friendly as early part of walk on Marriott's way which has a large number of cyclists (I ride as well so not knocking cyclists) Road section between wp4 and wp5 has limited verge sections that allow you to get out of the way of the cars. Only the section between wp5 and wp6 where the dog can be let off the lead. Timing spot on (including quick lunch). Best with printed details as GPS lacks some info.
